About The Show

PURPOSE

AGG1 Aggregates Forum & Expo focuses exclusively on the aggregates industry, and is the industry's leading exposition and education resource. AGG1 features in-depth industry-focused educational programming and comprehensive exhibits showcasing the latest technologies and innovations in aggregates-related equipment, products and services.

DATES AND LOCATION

AGG1 will be held March 9-12, 2009 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida USA.

AGG1 will be co-located with the World of Asphalt 2009 Show and Conference to provide an enhanced show experience for attendees with additional exhibits and education opportunities.

ATTENDEES

AGG1 is geared to the decision makers and buyers from the companies that produce the vast majority of crushed stone, sand and gravel in the marketplace, including company owners, senior managers, plant managers, superintendents, regional managers, engineers, technical professionals and safety managers. Some 6,000 visitors from around the world are expected to attend AGG1 2009 and the co-located World of Asphalt 2009.

EXHIBITS

AGG1 exhibits feature a wide range of aggregate-related equipment, products and services, with exhibits that incorporate demonstrations and technology.

In addition, AGG1 2009 and the co-located World of Asphalt 2009 will feature these special product pavilions focusing on environment, safety and health; dredging; finance/lease; testing; and information/technology.

More than 400 exhibitors using 90,000 net square feet of exhibit space are expected at AGG1 2009 and the co-located World of Asphalt 2009.

EDUCATION

The AGG1 education program offers courses on a full range of topics so that industry professionals can have a choice about the topics they want to learn about and the areas where they want to focus, based on their unique situation. In one place is a true exchange of industry ideas and concepts.

Planned topic areas include Automation; Community Relations/Government Affairs; Dredging; Drill and Shoot; Engineering Properties & Research; Environment; Equipment Management; Leadership, Management & Human Resources; Mine Planning Pit-to-Plant; Processing; Safety & Health; Transportation; and Underground Mining.
